In Pakistan, the former opposition party has come to power, as President Pervez Musharraf swore in a new cabinet of members opposed to his polices.
This overdue formation of the cabinet saw 24 ministers given the oath by Musharraf in the country's capital of Islamabad.
The ceremony came after Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani won a unanimous vote of confidence from the National Assembly on Saturday, and unveiled a 100-day program of his government's priorities.
More members are expected to join the cabinet soon.
