This was the first parade held since the system of military ranks was implemented among the PLA. Dressed in new military uniforms with military ranks and collar badges, the officers and soldiers took on an entirely new look.
此次为解放军实行军衔制的第一次阅兵，部队官兵穿着新制式军服，佩戴军衔、领章，军容焕然一新。
