China kicked off a huge military ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of Japan's defeat in World War II on Thursday.
3日，中国举行了大型的阅兵仪式纪念在二战中战胜日本70周年。
President Xi Jinping oversaw the event, in which he announced that China's military - the largest in the world - would be reduced by 300,000 troops and that Beijing will "not seek hegemony" in the world.
习近平主席检阅了部队，并且在现场宣布中国军队将裁员30万，中国不会“称霸”世界。
