Microsoft on Sunday said ByteDance will not be selling TikTok's US operations to the company.
微软9月13日表示，字节跳动不会将TikTok美国业务出售给微软。
"ByteDance let us know today they would not be selling TikTok's US operations to Microsoft. We are confident our proposal would have been good for TikTok's users, while protecting national security interests," Microsoft said in a statement.
微软在一份声明中表示：“字节跳动今日已通知我们，不会将TikTok美国业务出售给微软。我们相信我们的提议将在保护国家安全利益的同时有利于TikTok用户。
Another bidder for the wildly popular social media platform, Oracle, is gaining the upper hand as its negotiations for TikTok's US operations have intensified in recent days, Bloomberg reported.
