Going into today's contests, Ted Cruz had 300 delegates, behind Donald Trump's more than 380.
This evening, Cruz will be at a church in a Charlotte suburb.
Tonight's event is another chance to talk to the evangelicals that could keep him in the race.
Trump will campaign in Florida, as the candidates are turning their attention to next week's elections in Florida, Ohio, and right here in North Carolina.
