The President said he was impressed with President-elect Donald Trump’s election win and the way he motivated his supporters.

But he offered this advice to his successor, who often used coarse language on the campaign trail:

(President Obama) “I think what will happen with the President-elect is there are gonna be certain elements of his temperament that will not serve him well unless he recognizes them and corrects them.”

The President also suggested that Mr. Trump send some signals of unity and reach out to women and minority groups.
