New Treasury Department rules further ease trade and travel between the U.S. and Cuba. President Obama approving a directive allowing the export of some consumer goods sold online and U.S. firms to work on Cuban infrastructure for humanitarian purposes.
The guidelines also increase the amount of Cuban rum and cigars travelers can bring back to the U.S. for personal use.
In a statement, the President says the directive builds upon changes already made and encourages further engagement between our two countries and people.
