英语文摘：Mexico to meet Trinidad and Tobago in World Cup qualifier

MEXICO CITY, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Mexico will host rival Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday in the World Cup qualifier.

    Mexico lost 2-1 to El Salvador in the last match, while Trinidad and Tobago lost to Costa Rica.

"We are all aware that the situation is very tough," said Mexican defender Andres Guardado. "But we don't have time for regrets. There is a match to win," he said.

Guardado, who plays for Spanish league team La Coruna, says they will play "like grim death" in the coming match.

    "While we have a chance to get into the Cup, we are going to play like grim death," he said. "That is what we have said as a team. We have more than ever to stay calm and stay united."
