CAPE TOWN, South Africa, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Paraguay hero Antolin Alcaraz had no regrets about joining Wigan despite his stock already rising after his goal against Italy.

The defender, who will join English club Wigan after the World Cup, lifted Paraguay to 1-0 lead over defending champions Italy in the first half of the World Cup Group F opener on Monday.
