BUENOS AIRES, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Uruguay striker Luis Suarez was named the player of the tournament by a panel of journalists as Uruguay beat Paraguay 3-0 to win Copa America on Sunday.
The 24-year-old, who plays from English Premier League's Liverpool, finished the tournament with four goals, including the game opening score in the 12th minute at Sunday's final.
