PARIS, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Sports director of French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Leonardo said on Friday "nothing was done" for the arrival of the England's veteran midfielder David Beckham.
"We never said it (the agreement) was done. We has a good relationship but I do not know if it will happen," Leonardo said.
"There are always questions about his personal life. He is in Los Angeles and I do not know if it will happen," he added.
Local media reported that Beckham gave his verbal accord to join soon PSG for 18 months with some details remain to be finalized.
According to the report, the French club will offer 800,000 euros (1.039 million US dollars) a month to the 36-year-old veteran, twice the highest wage in French Ligue 1.
