Shahzad reportedly had his mind on four other targets if his Times Square plot succeeded. He is said to have told interrogators he wanted to hit Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, a terminal station in Manhattan of New York, the World Financial Center, a complex of buildings housing Merrill Lynch, the Wall Street Journal and many others, and the Connecticut headquarters of defense contractor Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
Shahzad's next court date is for a preliminary hearing June 1.
