Here are my recommendations on the five historical destinations in America, first of all, Boston. Boston is filled with history and if you go to Boston, I suggest you take The Freedom Trail walk. It will capitalize it in the few short hours, it's wonderful.
Number two, the Liberty Bell, Philadelphia, a huge city for history.
Number three; Williamsburg, Virginia, it is a throw back to revolutionary war times, it's wonderful. They recreate, they have taverns from that era and great places to stay.
Now, here is a little tip, there is a dead industry in America unfortunately, and it's called Whaling, and you can get a tremendous history of whaling by going to New Bedford, Massachusetts, a little obscure tip.
And my last one is New York City, from Ground Zero to Grant's Tomb to St. Patrick's Cathedral. That city has more history buried amongst its skyscrapers and 8 million people than you could ever imagine, it's a wonderful place.
