(BEIJING, May 27) -- The Chinese women's basketball team will travel to Europe on May 27 to play warm-up matches against potential Olympic opponents, Kuang Lubin, the team’s leader, said at a press conference."After the Good Luck Beijing competition, the team underwent some specific training in stamina and key techniques. We carefully reviewed the match against the Polish team, identifying some weaknesses such as defense and protecting the board." Kuang said.The Chinese team will play matches against teams from Spain, Brazil, Japan and the Czech Republic. After the trip, head coach Tom Maher will stay in Spain to scout the qualification tournament for the Olympics.Kuang said that while some of the starters are treating injuries, the injuries won't affect their ability to train and compete.
