(HO CHI MINH CITY, May 31) -- Australia overpowered the Republic of Korea 2-0 in a group B match of the Asian Football Confederation Women's Asian Cup. Ellyse Perry broke the deadlock 30 minutes after the kick-off with a 25-yard drive. In the 69th minute of the game, Lisa De Vanna broke though the ROK defense and calmly kicked in a second goal, sealing the victory for Australia.In another group B match that took place earlier, Japan annihilated Chinese Taipei 11-0.
