(BEIJING, June 4) -- No. 2-seeded Rafael Nadal celebrated his 22nd birthday with a victory over fellow Spaniard Nicolas Almagro 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in the men’s singles quarterfinals at Roland Garros, bringing his career record to 26-0 in the French Open.Nadal, who has won the clay-court major three consecutive times -- from 2005 to 2007 -- is in the same league as Bjorn Borg, who won the title 1978 to 1981 French; Max Decugis who won French Open 1907 to 1909 and 1912 to 1914; Paul Ayme, 1897 to 1900; and Andre Vacherot, 1894 to 1896.This is the fourth year that Nadal competes for this title.A challenge awaits Nadal in the semifinal, as he will face third-seeded Novak Djokovic from Serbia, winner of the 2008 Australian Open.
