Approaching the net only six times (winning points twice), Nadal dominated from the baseline, outrunning and outlasting Federer on long points and hitting 46 winners.The win pushes Nadal's clay court record against Federer to 9-1 and make this the third consecutive year that Nadal has halted Federer's career Grand Slam hopes in the finals of Roland Garros.
