(BEIJING, June 12) -- The final roster of the U.S. Men's Basketball team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics will now be announced soon after the NBA Finals are complete, said Jerry Colangelo, managing director of USA Basketball Men's Senior National Team Program. The original plan was to choose 16 players for a training camp in Las Vegas and then decide the final 12 before June 30.It is reported that Colangelo and head coach Mike Krzyzewski have already cut the roster down from 30 to 14 players and that only the point guard and power forward positions require further scouting.
