A: I haven’t seen you around campus recently, Bill.
B: No, I’ve been feeling pretty low since I failed my midterms. I haven’t really felt like going out to do anything.

A: Have I made the professor angry? I saw him in the cafeteria yesterday, but when I smiled at him, he didn’t smile back.
B: No, that’s just his way. He’s always been moody. If he had smiled back, that would be big news.
A: 我是不是哪儿得罪教授了？昨天在自助餐厅里，我冲他微笑，可他没搭理我。
B: 不是，他就那样，老是一副闷闷不乐的样子。如果他冲你微笑了，那才稀奇呢。
