TIRANA, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- The legendary Swedish innovative play SEVEN arrives here Friday for a kick-off performance in its Western Balkans tour.
SEVEN is a play based on interviews of female human rights activists. The play will be performed by a unique ensemble of influential politicians, journalists and athletes.
This play is a testimony to the condition of women's rights worldwide and an insight into the minds of women who dedicate their lives to achieving gender equality.
The script of the play was adapted by Hedda Krausz Sjogren, an award-winning Swedish playwright, actress and producer.
Since it was first presented in 2008, over 500 public figures including multiple Oscar-winner Meryl Streep and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have performed in this play.
