BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhua) -- A total of 160 people had been killed and 6,700 injured in the 7.0-magnitude earthquake in southwest China's Sichuan Province as of 0:40 a.m. Sunday, according to the country's seismological bureau.
The earthquake hit Lushan county of Ya'an city in the province at 8:02 a.m. Saturday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
