BEIJING, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Thai Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol on Saturday evening gave a performance by playing Gu Zheng, a Chinese classical zither, at a concert at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong was present at the 6th "Thailand and China: Two Lands, One Heart" concert.
Joining with Chinese artists, Princess Chulabhorn played traditional Chinese music including "Spring River in the Moonlight" at the concert.
Princess Chulabhorn and her delegation will also travel to Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province, and Shanghai.
Initiated by Princess Chulabhorn in 2001, the concert "Thailand and China: Two Lands, One Heart" has been an important China-Thailand cultural exchange program set by the two governments.
