BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Senior members of China's top political advisory body on Thursday reviewed two documents on improving internal systems.
The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee held a meeting of its chairman and vice chairpersons and passed a draft revision on rules for the special committees of the CPPCC National Committee and another document to improve the advisory body's work in investigation and research.
The meeting participants agreed that the advisory body should improve its systems, standards and procedures for more scientific work.
The members at the meeting, presided over by Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, decided to deliver the documents for further review at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.
