BERLIN, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Roger Federer will vie for his sixth ATP Halle grasscourt title when he faces German Tommy Haas in Sunday's final.
Second seed Federer barely sweated in his 6-1, 6-4 semifinal win over unseeded Russian Mikhail Youzhny on Saturday while wildcard Haas, a formerr world number two, beat compatriot Philipp Kohlschreiber, the quarterfinal conqueror of Rafael Nadal, 7-6 (7-5), 7-5.
Federer spent just an hour to see off the world number 31 Youzhny, firing down eight aces. The 30-year-old Swiss showed no sign of fatigue despite his gruelling third-set win over Canada's Milos Raonic in the last eight on Friday.
Haas, currently ranked 87 in the world, just came back to action after sideline for 14 months after undergoing hip surgery.
The 34-year-old will be playing his first final since beating Djokovic at the same venue in 2009 when he became the eventual champion.
