PRAGUE, June 28 (Xinhua) -- The Czech Olympic Committee (COV) Thursday approved a list of 118 nominees, including 65 men and 53 women, for the London Olympic Games.
The number of Olympians may increase to 130 if the Czech women's basketball team wins a qualifier against Japan on Friday.
At the Beijing Olympics four years ago, the Czechs were represented by 134 athletes.
The Czech nominees include all three gold medalists from Beijing - women's javelin thrower Barbora Spotakova and shooters Katerina Emmons and David Kostelecky.
The legendary water slalom athlete Stepanka Hilgertova, 42, who has won two Olympic golds, will compete in his sixth Olympics.
