KIEV, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine national team coach Oleh Blokhin signed a four-year deal with Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.
The 59-year-old Blokhin, who led Ukraine during the Euro 2012, will switch fully to coach Kiev in October after Ukraine's World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Montenegro.
Bolkhin joins Dynamo Kiev after former coach Yuri Semin was fired on Monday following a series of embarrassing defeats including the 4-1 loss to French outfit Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League opener.
"I'm ready to work 24/7 to reach this goal," Blokhin said. "The team needs to spread its wings. We cannot lose 4-1 all the time. It's too much for Dynamo Kiev."
