MILAN, April 24 (Xinhua) -- AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said the Rossoneri will "fight for the Scudetto" next season.
The Milan side are currently ranked third in Serie A, 18 points behind leaders Juventus and one point clear of Fiorentina.
Galliani expected the Serie A giants could improve next season to challenge Juventus.
"Milan are the biggest team in Italy in terms of revenue," he said. "And we must improve in order to have a competitive team - both in Italy and in Europe.
"We need to 'give gas' to our players in order to make the Champions League for the 11th time in 12 years," he said.
"Once we do that, hopefully next year, with a team that is properly integrated, we can fight for the Scudetto," he added.
