QUITO, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Ecuadorian club Emelec next Thursday will face Brazil's Fluminense in the Copa Libertadores round of 16 first leg, to be played in Ecuador's southwestern city of Guayaquil.
"We have to fight to death, as we did in the first round when we faced Penarol (Uruguay), another big team, and we overcame it," Emelec's coach Gustavo Quinteros told the press.
The match will be played Thursday at 2030 local time (0130 GMT on Friday) in George Capwell stadium, with Colombian Wilmar Roldan as referee.
Quinteros admitted it will be a difficult match because Fluminense, led by Abel Braga, is a "complicated rival".
"We have to try to obtain a good goal difference at home," added Quinteros.
