WASHINGTON, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Shooting guard Martell Webster decided to stay in Washington DC for four more years, as the 26-year-old released on tweeter.
"Ted Leonsis, Ernie G and Tommy Shep.Thank u so much for giving me a home and another opportunity to make something special in DC I'm a wizkid," tweeted Webster.
Webster enjoyed the best ever NBA season in the past year, averaging 11.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists. His three-point percentage (42.2 percent) was also the highest in his career.
The official contract wouldn't be signed until July 10.
