RIO DE JANEIRO, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Brazil international midfielder Thiago Neves has reportedly signed with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal for eight million US dollars.
The 28-year-old playmaker will travel to the country's capital Riyadh on Thursday for a medical, O Globo reported on Wednesday night.
His former club Fluminense will receive just 20% of the transfer fee with the balance going to investment firm Unimed Participacoes.
Neves is the third member of Abel Braga's 2012 Serie A championship-winning team to depart during the winter transfer window.
The club has also lost Wellington Nem to Shakhtar Donetsk and Ricardo Berna to Brazilian rivals Nautico.
