BERLIN, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Head coach Joachim Loew revealed Germany's 25-men squad for the last two upcoming international friendlies in Frankfurt on Friday.
Loew sprung a surprise after nominating two newbies and one veteran for the upcoming friendlies against France and the Netherlands.
Besiktas striker Mario Gomez returns to the "Nationalmannschaft" while Schalke's youngster Leroy Sane and Paris Saint-Germain custodian Kevin Trapp will slip on Germany's jersey for the first time.
"If Mario is up to the mark and plays regularly, he can be valuable to any team, and of course for us too. These conditions are now fulfilled. We know Leroy from the youth teams and see enormous potential in him," Loew said.
Goalkeeping coach Andreas Koepke added: "We observed Kevin Trapp for some time now and we want him to be in the circle of the national team. He stepped up since his transfer to Paris."
Loew gave Mesut Oezil and Toni Kroos a break as he wants to experiment with "different variants" in light of the preparations for the EURO 2016 in France.
Loew appointed overall 25 players including four goalkeepers. Germany's national team combines players from six different leagues, which is a new record in the DFB (German Football Association) history.
Germany clash with France on November 13 in Paris, before the FIFA world champions host the Netherlands for the last cap in 2015 four days later.
