The two goals came in the second half from Maximiliano Rodriguez at the 65 minute and Ignacio Scocco at 87th in Buenos Aires' Monumental Stadium. The match was the 30th and final match of the season.?
Coach Marcelo Gallardo enlisted the majority of his reserves for the match to let his first team rest before the second leg of the semifinals of the Copa Sudamericana on Nov. 26. River will visit Huracan (Buenos Aires) after losing 1-0 in the previous home match.?
