New Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has asked the press to stop comparing him with former coach and player Pep Guardiola in a conference on Tuesday.
While talking to the press, Zidane spoke about why he shouldn't be compared with Guardiola.
"You shouldn't make comparisons with me and Guardiola. Guardiola is Guardiola. I will do my best. Guardiola is a fantastic coach and what he is doing is very impressive. But I will not compare myself with anyone. I never did it as a player and I won't do it now as a coach. The most important thing for me is what I?ll try to contribute to my squad every day, you know? I'll do my best for all of us to work well."
The conference comas after Zidane replaced former Real coach Rafa Benitez.
Both Guardiola and Zidane have played for, and now, have coached the famed Spanish football team.
