A Pond
Deep is the pounding
of my heart in the bottom
of this unruffled pond.
I bear the boat of fate
and the float of clouds
impressed by my surface calm.
To search the echoing sigh
in this domed valley that
is propped by pines.
I hear the raindrops
tiptoeingly coming back
to shower worldly worries.
