(BEIJING, May 30) - No. 11 seeds Sun Tiantian and Peng Shuai of China beat Italians Tathiana Garbin and Roberta Vinci 6-2, 6-7, 6-0 in the Women's Doubles, 1st Round, in the French Open.Although Peng lost her singles match against Iveta Benesova in the morning, she cooperated well with Sun, securing a top-32 position.Peng and Sun lost only five points in four serve games. Garbin and Vinci tried their best to win the second set, but Sun and Peng proved their strength with a 6-0 score in the last set, winning the first women's doubles round at Roland Garros.The technical statistics showed that the Chinese group was much better in pace and power than the Italian group.
