(BEIJING, June 5) -- The ExxonMobil Bislett Games, the second meet in the AF Golden League, will begin at 5:30 p.m. local time in Oslo, Norway, on June 6, 2008. Ten events are scheduled for the one-evening athletics meet.One of the most anticipated events of the evening will be the 3000m Women’s Steeplechase, which features a line-up that the IAAF says is arguably the “greatest ever assembled” outside of major international championships. Current world record-holder Gulnara Smitova-Galkina from Russia will be competing in the event, as well as reigning world champion Yekaterina Volkova.
